Large student house with 11 bedrooms now has four spare rooms ! (pictures below!)

This is about room number 1 !

Firstly, this is in a large house in the safest area of North London, Stamford Hill.

The house itself has a decent sized garden, two kitchens, two showers, three toilets, washing machine, ovens, kettles, toasters, microwave, two payphones (Useful for when someone wants to call you at local house rates which is much cheaper than calling a mobile phone) and has…….. ALL BILLS INCLUDED – including a 20mb Virgin Broadband connection! I must also stress that when I say all bills included, I REALLY mean it…… Our landlord also comes over every day to top up the house with lots of toilet paper, washing up liquid, washing sponges & Jaycloths, kitchen roll, TV Listing magazines, lightbulbs and all the other essentials- you may think these are small but they really add up in price! We also have saucepans, frying pans, kitchen utensils, plates, cutlery etc which we all share too!

Ok, now onto the room. The downside is it’s in the basement section of the house (with two other bedrooms, a kitchen/lounge, two toilets, a shower and a door to the garden) which means that there is only a small window in the room which restricts the light a bit.

However, this is a large room ! It has a single bed, cupboards, wardrobe, TV, lamps, armchair, desk, and some other goodies included…PLUS this is a house full of lovely and friendly people so if you’re friendly too you’re sure to fit in well :)

The price is very reasonable at just £97 a week with all of the above factors taken into account in addition to heating, 20mb internet, water, gas all included so you never ever have to worry about any hidden costs.

We often have barbeques in the garden followed by drinks, always chat in the kitchen and generally get along well so it’s a nice place to live :)

Interested in how you’ll get to Uni?

Manor House tube station is just 4 bus-stops away and is on the Piccadilly Line. Seven Sisters tube is 6 min away on the bus and is on the Victoria line. Busses to all areas of London are available from here. The lovely Stoke Newington is just 15 min walk away, or 3 min on the bus. Bars in Old Street and also Camden are just one bus ride away (30 min) and the busses run all night. Holloway Road just 18 min away on the bus if you’re at to London Met Uni.

We have a Somerfield supermarket, a Dominoes Pizza, a Morrisons supermarket, off licences open till late, bars in the area and other shops but whats really awesome is that Stoke Newington really is right next door so very easy to get to and from if you’re interested in hanging out around there (google the location, you’ll see how close it really is!)

If you’re looking for a double room in a lovely flat – you might find this is it! As long as you’re OK sharing the flat with one other guy and are happy to maintain a clean, warm and welcoming environment. Here’s what you want to know about:

… the guy:
Relaxed, easy going, considerate, 28 year old professional male working for a consultancy firm. I’m into keep fit, dancing, Kung Fu, guitar, eating out (I’m veggie), movies, theatre, singing, music – in fact I like most things! Especially going out (bars/clubs/gigs/theatre), having a drink (I know my limits!), meeting new people, trying new things and most importantly laughing – a lot! Haha!
I’ve loved living in such a vibrant area for the past 2 years. Lots of good Turkish restaurants, pubs and cafes nearby, a large Sainsbury’s very near and incredibly handy transport links.
It’s a good location (minutes walk from Piccadilly line and overground) as it’s not as claustrophobic as central yet it’s still near enough to go out/go to work there if you do – which I do! And it’s fine and safe getting back after a night out.
Sharing a flat with me is easy and you’d fit right in if you’re up for having a laugh every now and again – whether it’s staying in to enjoy a movie or going out and seeing where the night leads!

… the Room:
Quiet, clean, well furnished double room looking out onto mature large garden. Contains a good quality double bed, wardrobe with mirror and a large chest of drawers. More furniture is available upon request such as desk or more storage.

… the Flat:
Very well furnished ground floor flat. Comfy, good sized living room and dining table, modern, well equipped kitchen, clean, modern bathroom (with power shower and bath), large basement. Landline, wireless broadband, washing machine and dishwasher.

No queuing for the toilet/shower ever! – I have an ensuite bathroom. So shower/bath as long as you want!
Privacy – bedrooms are at opposite ends of the flat. That’s good!
